Getting Started
This part introduces openMSE and walks through the core workflow from object construction to a complete management strategy evaluation. No prior familiarity with the package is assumed.
Chapter 2 introduces the primary objects and functions, explains how they fit together in the framework, and describes the S4 class system that underpins it.
Chapter 3 gives a tour of the key object classes, with descriptions of their main slots and how they relate to each other.
Chapter 4 provides an overview of the built-in example objects available in openMSE.
Chapter 5 runs a complete MSE using a built-in operating model, covering historical simulation, specifying management procedures, and running forward projections.
